Event details for the 5th Annual Fundraiser to benefit Hippotherapy, Therapeutic Riding and Horses for Heroes Programs.

An Evening Among Angels is an evening that will be filled with dining, dancing, live and silent auctions, local celebrities and great entertainment.

Your ticket purchase will not onlly provide you with a wonderful evening of fun and entertainment, but will also make a difference in the life of a child or adult living with physical, developmental or emotional challenges.

In August 2006, a non profit support organization, Apache’s Angels Foundation was created to support and manage the charitable endeavors for local hippotherapy and therapeutic riding programs.  Apache’s Angels exist to:

• Accept donations of equipment, tack, horses, and monies for the daily operational requirements.
  
  
• Provide scholarships to appropriate clients with financial needs.
  
  
• Recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers.
  
  
• Promote the services provided by local stables to better serve Tarrant County and the surrounding counties.
  
  
• Fund research to validate the effectiveness of hippotherapy and therapeutic riding.

Volunteers are the “life blood” of our organization and are always needed to groom and tack horses, lead, sidewalk and “school” horses, as well as provide assistance for the administrative duties of the stables and foundation.

Ways To Donate

In addition to accepting donations, of tack, horses, and adoption programs, you can donate via check or money order. Online donations coming soon through secure network provided by PayPal. Donors are able to specify if contributions are in memoriam, in honorarium, for scholarship or general donation.

Scholarship Donation Goal

Scholarship 10 patients a year. Approximately $5,000 per patient, per year.

Donation Dollars at Work

Through donations from Sabre and Home Depot, a Sensory Trail was unveiled in November 2006 at Stajduhar Stables. This trail supported over 90% of the patients that came to Stajduhar Stables for therapy.

We have also received six horses through donations. These horses have provided many successful hours of therapy sessions for our clients both therapeutic riding and hippotherapy.
